 Instructions for Authors(KOR)

1. Types of Manuscripts

Manuscripts may be written in Korean or English. English manuscripts are accepted if they address ocean-related topics (e.g., fisheries, engineering, policy, resources, polar sciences) beyond the scope of the Ocean Science Journal (co-published with the Korean Society of Oceanography), or if they are submitted to a special issue (e.g., symposium, workshop, commemorative issue).

Manuscripts are classified as Article, Review, Note, or Data Paper. Authors shopd designate the manuscript type at submission, but the Editorial Board reserves the right to make the final determination.

2. Submission and Receipt

All manuscripts must be submitted via the Ocean and Polar Research online submission system (e-opr.org).

The maximum length of a manuscript is 20 pages, including figures, tables, and references.

Manuscripts not adhering to these guidelines, or containing substantial formatting or language errors, will not be considered. Manuscripts are evaluated by appointed peer reviewers, and the final decision is made by the Editorial Board.

The date of submission is defined as the date the manuscript is uploaded to the journal’s website. Submitted manuscripts will not be returned.

The Abstract must be in English, with a maximum length of 250 words. Up to five English keywords shopd follow the Abstract.

Figures and tables, including captions, must be in English. They shopd be cited in the text as "Fig. 1" "Table 1" etc., and must remain legible at publication size.
